Two Encouraging Words That Will Give You The Comfort You Need During The End Times: "Look Up"

These are scary times to live in, don’t you agree? It seems like every day there is something devastating going on somewhere in the world. Whether man-made or natural disaster there is always something tragic happening. You’d have to be living under a rock to not realize this.

If you’ve read the Bible and have been paying attention to these events and ungodly agendas being pushed at us then you must know. The prophecies of the Bible regarding the last days are unfolding before us.

There’s a video I’m sharing with you below that will seem a little frightening at first but there’s a powerful message of hope at the end. I hope you watch it.

This post isn’t to scare you. It’s to give you hope and to prepare you for what’s coming. Do these three things to keep you sane. And always remember these two words. Continue reading to find out what that is.

What’s Happening Today

And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. -Matthew 24:6-10

This year alone (2022) we have wars, food shortages, inflation, earthquakes, hurricanes, and floods. I’ll also add that there are people being killed, attacked, or targeted for having conservative beliefs and values.

Not to mention the world is going through an identity crisis. And the ideology that comes with this is being pushed on everyone. Ideas that go against God’s design and against His image in which we are created. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

It’s chaos all around. And it's only the beginning. But don’t you worry. Don’t be anxious or afraid. There is a way to deal with all this.

Look Up and Keep Looking Up

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;” -Act 2:17

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but many people have been posting videos of their dreams and visions of what’s coming (use discernment when watching these). Here is one sent to me by a friend you must watch. It’s a little long but worth watching.

If you watched the video (which I hope you did) then you heard the heavy references to the book of Nehemiah. This will be very similar to what our situation will be like. How can we prepare? What can we do?

What You Need To Do

Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. -Matthew 24:30

This is what we as Christ followers must do when things get scary:

1. Pray (for wisdom/discernment, protection, provision)

2. Keep doing God’s work (do the work of His Kingdom)

3. Look up (be on the lookout for Christ coming on the clouds)

I recommend going back to read the book of Nehemiah and see how he responds to his situation. He makes a great example of how we are to respond when our time comes.

The Good News

One tragic thing will follow another and it will seem like it will never end. Y'all these are good signs. They may not seem like they are. But they are. Don't be surprised when things unfold. It's been prophesized long ago. Read your Bible people.

Despite everything that is going on Jesus is coming for His church very soon. It's going to get rough. But we must endure it. So, remember those things you need to do in the midst of it all. God doesn't give us a spirit of fear but a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

And look up.
